Industrial chemistry has a knowledge problem.
The industrial chemicals market is vast, fragmented, and technically opaque. Procurement engineers navigate thousands of products, hundreds of manufacturers, and decades of scattered technical literature — with no structured way to connect an engineering problem to the chemistry that solves it.
The result is slow, expensive, and error-prone sourcing. Decisions are made on incomplete information. Alternatives are missed. Suppliers are chosen by familiarity rather than fit. And the reasoning behind every decision lives in someone's head — not in a system.

GCOS — The Galatika Chemical Ontology & Semantic Standard
GCOS is Galatika's core intellectual property. It is a formal semantic standard that defines the structured relationships between engineering problems, engineering functions, product families, chemical concepts, commercial products, manufacturers, and supporting evidence.
GCOS is not a database. It is a language — a governed, extensible ontology that gives AI systems and human analysts a shared vocabulary for reasoning about industrial chemistry. It is the reason GCIP can answer questions that no keyword search engine can.
GCOS is designed to be licensed. It is the foundation on which GCIP is built, and the standard on which the next generation of chemical intelligence tools will run.

GCIP is the application of GCOS. We built a governed industrial knowledge system that AI can reason over — not another AI tool built on unstructured data. It is an evidence-driven intelligence platform that lets procurement engineers search by engineering problem, compare chemistries with structured evidence, identify verified manufacturers, generate specification-complete RFQs, and build auditable procurement case files.
